Electric Motor Torque Calculation Formula

Electrical power is being used more and more in products today.

The aerospace industry will be using thrust created by electrical motors.
Most people will say the the battery technology is where the development is currently what is needed to support the future for this increase.
I personally believe that there will be overunity technologies that will be developed to not require the need for as many batteries in the future products.
I believe that the proper use of magnets can be used like a battery to be used to power electromechanical movement.
It is not enough to create overunity devices, the new technologies need to be more efficient and smaller than solar or wind over unity systems.
I does not make sense to put a wind generator on a car.  The solar cell on the roof of a car does not operate at night.  Charging the car batteries during the day with solar cells can only charge at a slower rate for most peoples needs for travel.  So developing high torque magnetic motors in small packages is what is needed.  THis can be achieved if we all work together to make it happen.

Five to One PM to EM Torque Motor

This is by far the best Three Layer Electromechanical Movement Motor that I have designed.
This is a duel disk single stator motor.  Adding a second rotor operating with one stator assembly
has increased the PM to EM torque ratio from 3 to 1 to 5 to 1.
When you add the modified Tank circuit with steering diodes that I designed
should bring this system into the range of OverUnity.
I know, I know,  I need to prove it by building one.
Well, I wish I could!

Torque Equation of a DC Motor

Torque or moment or moment of force is the tendency of a force to rotate or move an object about an axis. A force is a push or pull, likewise, torque is a twist to an object. Mathematically, torque, T = F × r.

Torque is nothing but a momentary force developed at the time of force is applied to the motor. The unit of torque is N.m (Newton-meter). In other words, Torque T(N.m) is equal to the ratio between the electrical power P(W) in watts to the acceleration.

The total power rating of the motor details can be found from the motor’s nameplate details. Absence of the power details, the power is equal to the product of the voltage and current for DC motor and for AC motor, the product of the voltage, current and power factor.

The speed of the motor can be found by using Speed measurement devices.

Hence motor torque T = P / ω

Here omega ω is equal to 2 x pi x N(rpm) / 60

For DC Motor torque Formula:

For Calculating, Torque for DC motor

T = V x I / (2 x pi x N(rpm) / 60)

N(rpm) is the speed of the motor

V => Input DC Voltage

I => Input DC Current

For Single phase AC motor torque formula:

T = V x I x pf / (2 x pi x N(rpm) / 60)

V => Input AC Voltage in volts (line to neutral voltage)

I => Input AC Current in amps

For three phase AC motor torque formula:

T = 1.732 x V x I x pf / (2 x pi x N(rpm) / 60)

V => Input AC Voltage in volts (line to line voltage)

I => Input AC Current in amps

Also while reducing the motor power the torque will be reduced.

i.e if you are running  y% of load, then the torque would be,

T = 1.732 x V x I x pf x y% / (2 x pi x N(rpm) / 60)

here V => rated voltage

I => rated current

Example:

AC 1 HP single-phase AC motor has an input voltage of 230V, the input current of 3.8 Amps and working at 2500 rpm, 0.8 pf, 100% load. Calculate the torque of the motor.

Apply our formula 1,

T(N.m) = 230 x 3.8 x 0.8 x 100% / (2 x 3.14 x 2500 / 60) = 2.66 N.m

The torque produced by the motor is 2.66 Nm.

Hence 1 HP motor can produce 2.66 N.m

🌀 Nikola Tesla's Ether Technology:
💠 Harnessing the power of back electromagnetic fields (Back EMF)
💠 Back EMF generates Lenz's Force in generator 💠 When the output energy is not affected by the Lenz (free) force, a self-powered mechanism will be established from the AC generator head to the induction motor. And the kinetic energy of the induction motor at that time was only supposed to stir the Ether by Nikola Tesla's "Rotating Magnetic Field". That's the mechanism for a Free Energy AC generator - no fuel needed - Self-powered generator.
